We are surrounded by voices telling us who we are and the way things are, but have you ever wondered how God's account might differ from the other narratives?
The Story According to God...
Many have said the world is a cosmic accident and there is no meaning behind it, but according to Him, He created everything with a purpose, and that includes you!
You've probably heard it said that morality is up to us, but according to Him, the teachings which are good come from His Word and Truth.
Maybe you've been told that you can live however you want, but according to Him, when we are disobedient to Him we have sinned and our sinfulness separates us from Him. We all have sinned and we all fall short of God's glorious standard. (Romans 3:23)
It might seem to you that everything is hopeless, but according to Him, hope is found in His Son Jesus who was sent as a sinless sacrifice to pay the penalty for the sins of the world. His love for YOU was so great that Jesus was willing to lay down His own life.
The world might tell us that Jesus has no effect on our life, but according to Him, Jesus is able to cleanse us from our sin and give us everlasting life with Him in Heaven.
You may think that you are all alone, but according to Him, He knows and cares about every detail of your life and wants to be in a relationship with you.
If you believe that, and want to accept Christ and His free gift of salvation, simply pray this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I confess that You died for my sins according to the scriptures, were buried, and rose from the grave to give me new life. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask You into my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve You always.”
